Job Title    : BO / Business Objects Developer

Location   : Oakland, CA

Duration  : 12 months

 

Description / Skills:

 

Defines and documents the report/universe technical specifications based on the business analytical requirements including the physical components and their functionality.

Establishes, socializes and enforces standards, guidelines, policies, best practices, architecture patterns and frameworks for the enterprise report development.

Builds, tests, implements and maintains Crystal Reports, Webi Universes and Xcelsius Dashboards as specified. This includes security, publishing, scheduling and metadata management.    

Work includes planning, oversight and assisting all activities related to management of the Business Objects Enterprise Server.

 

·         Plan, design and oversee the implementation and/or upgrades of the Business Objects Enterprise Server.

·         Establish security, publication, scheduling and metadata standards.

·         Organize knowledge transfers for technical staff and business users as necessary, to administer the Business Objects Enterprise Server.

·         Drive data standardization, data integrity and quality.

·         Develop testing and other quality assurance procedures

·         Provide the BI Manager with status and progress reports on development and maintenance activities as required.

·         Bachelors Degree in Information Systems or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
