SAP ABAP Consultant 

Location: Ashburn, Virginia (20147 

Location: 3+Months

Description

• Responsible for analysis, design, development, enhancement, maintenance and support the functionalities of SAP systems.

• Work as a team with functional analysts and business analysts in designing, developing, testing, implementing and supporting SAP solutions.

• Write technical specifications, perform research, analysis and testing solutions. Participate in functional testing and system integration testing.

• Minimum of 7+ years SAP ABAP development experience.

• Broad ABAP experience in the following areas: Workflow, Object Oriented programming, Data Dictionary, BAPI, BADI, RFC, ALE/EDI, IDOC, ALV programming, Classical and Interactive Reporting, BDC, SAP Scripts, (offline/interactive), Enhancement, User Exits, Dialog Programming, Interface/ABAP Proxy programming, ABAP Web Dynpro, Performance Tuning, Function Module development, and Spool programming.

• Extensive Knowledge or experience with Fiori/UI5, OData services, Web Ide, Java Script, and Web Services.

• Must have SAP Techno-functional knowledge, in at least two of the following areas: Finance and Accounting, Sales and Distribution, Logistics and Inventory/Material Management, CRM and SRM.

• Proven analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills.

• Work closely with the project team and business community to perform functional analysis for designing solutions, evaluating options technically.

• Understand enough about each option to evaluate multiple options and recommend the best Technical solution.

• Must have current or most recent ABAP experience including latest technical areas in SAP.

• Preparation and review of Technical specifications for ABAP using appropriate standards, methodology and tools.

• Provide assistance to developers by playing a lead role communicating between Functional and developers.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills—including the ability to express complex business concepts in technical terms.

• Demonstrated ability to work within a team to accomplish goals and milestones.
