Job Description:

10+ years of experience as a production and Development DBA in SQL Server 2014/2012/2008 and Oracle 9i/10g/11g

 

Expertise in performance Analysis, and Production Support for Large (VLDB), Complex and highly transacitive Databases.

 

Expertise in RDBMS S/W Installation, applying patches, Upgradation, configuring, managing, monitoring disk space usage, database integrity/consistency and troubleshooting of SQL Server 2014/2012/2008/2008 R2/05/00 on Windows 2012/2008/03/00

 

Good experience in Data modeling, CDC, backup compression, Data compression.

 

Good experience in setup SQL server 2012 Alwayson Availability Groups with 4 replicas.

 

Migrating/Upgrading SQL Server 7.0 databases into SQL Server 2000 and SQL Server 2000/05/08/08R2 databases into SQL Server 2005/2008/2008 R2/2012/2014 by In-place up gradation and side-by-side migration including DTS to SSIS migration and Data Center Migration/Consolidation of servers.

 

Expertise in Tuning T-SQL,PL/SQL Complex Queries, Stored Procedures,

Good experience in PowerShell scripting to automate Database Administration tasks.

 

5+Years Experience in Oracle Database 9i/10g/11g RAC, DB2, MySQL Administration.

 

8+Years Experience in windows/Unix/Linux administration.

 

8+Years Expertise in creating and resolving problem/service tickets, Implementation of changes on production according to the SLA.
