 Manual Tester - Test Analyst

 

Role: Manual Tester - Test Analyst - Mobile UAT

Work Location:  El Segundo, CA

Rate:$50.00 all in

Duration: 7 months

Responsibilities:

•          Contribute to the Test Plan/Strategy and Enterprise Framework

•          Analyze and inspect requirements;  work with SMEs to clarify and approve

•          Create test cases from requirements; peer review others and provide feedback

•          Generate test data and/or determine environment readiness for test cycles

•          Execute manual tests to validate Adobe Analytics (previously SiteCatalyst)

•          Use debugging methods and logs to determine analytics defects

•          Interact with Development team to provide information about defects logged to facilitate quick resolution

•          Verify fixed defects and close defect in tracking tool

•          Analyze enhancements for impact and apply needed changes to functional tests in the Regression Suite

•          Estimate Change Requests, and track/record test results from test execution

 

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have 5 years or more working in a structured Software Development environment, with experience in the requirements and design process, writing test plans, and creating/executing automated functional test cases.

•          Ability to read SiteCatalyst code and logs to document defects

•          Quality Center or similar test management tool

•          Strong Test Case design

•          Running test reports and analyzing results

•          Agile experience

•          Creating and maintaining Test Data

•          Intermediate knowledge of writing SQL queries

•          Basic understanding of Networking and configuration management (related to the build process)

 

Optional:

Experience in the following areas is strongly desired, but not required, although could be used as a differentiator in the selection process:

 

•          Testing of any Mobile applications (web or native, manual or automated)

•          Working with and/or leading an offshore testing team

•          Six Sigma or CMMI experience or certifications

•          QA-specific certifications such as CSTE or CSQA

•          HP QC or QTP certifications

•          A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
