Description:

Big Data Architect to evaluate, design, develop, test and maintain big data solutions within organization.

A Big Data Architect builds large-scale data processing systems, is an expert in data modelling & processing solutions and should be able to work with the latest Big Data and Cassandra/NoSQL database technologies.

 

Role Specification:

Experience in modern Information system architectures and design including technical leadership

Applied skills in modelling, design and development of Big data solutions

Bridging the gap between Functional and Technical teams especially in an Agile development environment

Experience in architecting and maintaining technologies such as Hadoop, Cassandra, Hive, HDP and Kafka

 

Knowledge/Skills:

10-12 Years of Overall IT Experience

Demonstrable experience related to Information & Analytics architecture.

Experience in large corporate and multi-cultural environments would be advantageous.

Enterprise level Big Data Platforms

Information Systems Architecture, strategy & planning and standards

Emerging Big Data technologies

 

Technology stack:

Candidate must have Hadoop, Cassandra, Hive, HDP (Hortonworks), Kafka

Elastic Search (Good to have)

Hands-on experience Data, Database, JAVA or any programming languages

 

Additional Skills:

Having exposure on the Cloudera Manager, Cloudera Navigator
