Qualifications:
• Experience of setting up, configuring and maintaining an entire Splunk Enterprise instance
• Well-versed in writing Splunk search queries in an efficient and optimized manner
• Good command over developing, maintaining and scheduling reports and dashboards in Splunk
• Knowledge of importing data into Splunk from external sources in an efficient manner(use of DB Connect app)
• Comfortable with developing PERL scripts and using any other shell scripting applications to schedule and maintain jobs for data extraction
• Knowledge about creating indexes, data models etc and all other other features of Splunk that help structure the data based on the business needs
• Understanding of the Machine Learning app of Splunk
• Comprehensive hands-on experience with Splunk (platform/infrastructure)
• Knowledge of scripting (SH, BASH, KSH, PowerShell, etc.)
