Main skill: ** HPUX 11.1 and 11.2, Itanium processors, virtualized **

HP-UX SME Consultant

Dallas, TX

3 months

send me the highest level HP-UX guys

Project description: The current situation is that the is in the middle of a very large conversion which is putting strain on the infrastructure.  Their conversion scripts were estimated to take 59 days to execute.  They have since tuned them to perform in half the time.  However, they are still seeing that the load on the servers is causing issues.  The client suggested that they significantly increase their processing power, so they connected a new HPUX box to take on more load with 16 additional processors.  They are now seeing that the application server occasionally hangs (I'm unsure of the frequency and regularity of this situation) and then the server proceeds to reboot itself, further exacerbating the situation.

The client does not have deeply skilled HPUX Admins that can figure this out.

Looking forward to hearing from you at the earliest!!!

Regards

Shankar
