Here are the requirement details

Position: High Level SAS/SQL SME

Location:  Irving, TX

Duration: 1 to 1 ½ years

We have 2 SAS opportunities with Verizon in Irving.   SINGLE SOURCE (WIRED TO PINNACLE).  

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Education: MS or PHD in Statistics, Operations Research, Econometrics, Computer Science, or related discipline.

Hands-on expertise in SAS (Base SAS, STAT, SAS Enterprise Guide and Enterprise Miner)

Heavy knowledge of Statistical modeling principles, data mining principles

Experience working with MASSIVE – Large – Databases (multiple TB – 100s of TB)

Video and content analytics experience is desirable

SQL and RDBMS skills

Programming in Java is desirable

Comfortable working in Windows AND Linux/Unix environments

• Segmentation
• Lift Charts
• Clustering
• Profiling
• Multi-variate analysis
