J2EE developer to develop an online filing application, working onsite in St. Paul. The web application will provide the opportunity for Commerce customers to electronically file documents and pay filing fees online. Software development will be in the J2EE/WebSphere/Rational Software Architect environment. The preferred developer is a self-motivated individual with excellent oral and written communication skills and well developed problem solving abilities. The selected candidate will work independently as a member of a high performing team charged with meeting exacting deadlines. The scope of work includes functional specifications review; code design, development, implementation, testing; application deployment; documentation; end user training; knowledge transfer.
