PROJECT:

Supporting UHC's accelerated approach for assessing high risk critical vendors

TEAM:

Reporting to the VISRA Team, the individual will act as a liaison & SME for internal departments & vendors to successfully perform Onsite Risk Assessments in USA. We leverage HITRUST CSF Version 7.0 for our program.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform and manage Onsite Risk Assessments as per process documents
• Ensure vendor compliance to the business agreement, policies, procedures, & regulations along with ability to map controls and compliance requirements
• Review vendor supplied policies & procedures, internal/external assessment reports, agreements and provide feedback
• Provision assessment reports and executive summaries with recommendations & direction regarding remediation efforts and disposition of the third party
• Communicate, escalate, and track vendor progress on assessment remediation activities
• Act as a liaison & SME for internal departments & vendors to successfully manage Vendor Risk Assessment
• Understand information security risks that are inherent to a business and articulate those risks in business terms
• Maintain current knowledge on information security topics and their applicability program requirements
• Engage VRO regarding any delays/deviations during remediation

TOOLS:

• Advance level experience in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint etc.

MUST HAVE:

• Experience working with senior levels of management
• Good follow-up skills and detail oriented
• Security expertise including knowledge on different security risk assessment frameworks (NIST/Octave), standards (ISO27001/HITRUST/ITIL/Cobit), and act such as (HIPAA/GLBA).
• Experience in examining the SSAE 16 Audit report
• Knowledge and understanding of different security products (web/email filtering, disk encryption, IDS/IPS, antivirus, DLP, firewall etc.)
• Knowledge of software development methodologies, application security, and OWASP Top 10 guidelines
• Ability to document assessment work papers and preparing assessment report
• Ability to manage vendor assessment independently with minimal supervision
• Strong Communication and Presentation Skills

NICE TO HAVE:

• Possess good project management skills

TRAVEL:  Up to 50%

The Recommendations Domain team contains an infrastructure function, responsible for designing and building out the application infrastructure to support our system. The successful candidate will have experience with both software development and NoSQL data platforms or distributed processing pipelines. This team is comfortable with collaboration, open communication, and reaching across functional borders.

Responsibilities:

• Building out application infrastructure in support of Best Buy's next generation digital/web platforms
• Building and managing distributed systems
• Aggressive refactoring
• Infrastructure automation
• SDLC Tooling
• Contributing to agile team cadence

Must Have Skills:

• At least three years of relevant systems software engineering experience
• Experience with large scale distributed systems
• Hands on experience engineering and deploying either:
• NoSQL data platforms, specifically one of the following: Apache Cassandara, Basho Riak, or MongoDB
• Distributed processing systems, such as Apache Storm or Apache Spark/Hadoop
• Agile development with OO or functional programming
• Extensive Unix/Linux command line knowledge
• Infrastructure Automation experience
• High comfort level with Unix, OO, & SOA design

Preferred to have experience in the following areas:

• Experience with Cloud Computing platforms (Google Compute Engine, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, OpenStack)
• Ruby and/or Python scripting experience

·         Fluency in R program to create statistical programs and use Spark MLib

·         Under general guidance, designs, develops, evaluates and modifies SAS (Statistical Analysis Software) programs to analyze and evaluate Mechanical Devices Data.

·         Assesses data accuracy and consistency.

·         Under general supervision, programs using SAS for statistical analysis and transfers of files or data to and from other databases into SAS environment.

·         Statistical Programmer data tables, figures, and listings.

·         Validates, documents and archives single-use programs under proper guidance. May validate and document SAS macro library.

·         Under general supervision, converts certain SAS programs to R

·         Extensive experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches using machine learning methods

·         Track record of using advanced statistical methods, information retrieval, data mining techniques

 

Experience:

·         Bachelor's OR Masters degree with 3 year of experience or Master degree with no experience as a statistical programmer using SAS and/or R

·         Good verbal and written communication skills.

·         Good knowledge of Base SAS, SAS/STAT, SAS macros, and SAS/GRAP- Preferred: R, Stata, or other additional programming skills
