The Customer and Technology Support Technician will work with the events team to manage and deliver meetings and events that facilitate productivity, increase sales and ultimately strengthen customer relationships. This role is highly visible and requires the skill-set and business etiquette to interact with all Oracle's employees, executives, partners and customer leadership teams, delivering impeccable customer service in order to achieve the flawless production and execution of live executive global meeting and events.
Responsibilities:
This role is responsible for the end-to-end management of all Audio Visual Technology requests for each of the individually tailored meetings, events and customer briefings, including but not limited to the following:
• Assisting the events team in the planning process to highlight and determine the technological requests, requirements, objectives, and challenges of each event and meeting.
• Determine all Audio Visual and technology requirements for each event in order to pre-produce, procure, source, test and rehearse (if required) with the event leads.
o Event Pre-production requires the close collaboration with all event leads, establishing timelines of content submittal and all event logistics, management of the event technology and establishing a 'show flow' to leverage a strong understanding of who presents on what, to whom, and for how long, including all AV and technology requests.
• Collaborate with event leads to establish all event logistics.
• Support day of schedule changes or changes in agenda direction as needed, by being available and wiling to adapt or change at the last minute, depending on the request, technologic, and logistical limitations.
• Provide customer support for all technology requests, for all events and meetings, demonstrating a deep understanding of the technological limitations whilst offering the highest level of customer support.
Business Development:
• Promote the value of internal and external events to all stakeholders by developing partnerships within and across all the lines of Business, with a focus on Marketing, Executives and all customer visits.
• Develop ongoing relations with the Stakeholders and Lines of Business who use the vents spaces.
• Engage and strategize with new clients in order to grow and develop new partnerships within and across all lines of business.
Background and Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree and 5-7+ years professional experience preferably in the Audio Visual technology field, with a strong understanding of corporate event requirements.
• Ability to work independently and handle high pressure situations in a fast-paced environment
• Enthusiasm for learning new technologies while working in a high-tech environment
• Strong project management experience, technical skills, public speaking skills, and a proven ability to identify, initiate and drive projects and events to successful completion, on deadline, is required.
• Demonstrate ability to work cross-functionally, think critically, indirectly influence, problem-solve, and lead cross-organizational projects
• Strong understanding of Audio Visual Technology, plus a demonstrated ability and commitment to learn and apply knowledge quickly in a high pressured situation.
• Strong leadership and smart problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of the operational requirements of a live corporate event.
• Focuses on highly professional interactions within the team and our supporters; attention to detail and follow-through are critical
• Applied sense of urgency and ability to drive processes to achieve results
• Impeccable attention to detail, strong organizational skills and willingness to handle administrative aspects of the position
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to create and deliver targeted messages to senior level executives
